Tips for your home workout
Social distancing, self-quarantine, and closed gyms make it difficult to stay active. We would like to provide you with some suggestions as to why this is particularly important right now and how you can make your workout at home enjoyable.

Many of our daily routines are currently restricted, and it can sometimes be difficult to find the motivation. And let's face it, exercising together is more fun, whether at a club, in the gym, or while running.
Prioritize your workout
Procrastination and constant postponement are also risks when training. If we don't have anyone to train with at a fixed time, we quickly find a reason to do something else instead. Keep in mind that working out is good for you, set fixed times for it, and stick to them.
Create a training plan
Instead of just doing something or trying to get fitter, make a precise plan. For example, do a workout for a specific body part every other day or work specifically on improving your mobility.
Try something new
Have you always wanted to do a targeted mobility workout or HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)? Watch a free video or try out one of the many fitness apps. Most apps have a free trial period. Perhaps you will find something new that excites you.
Set goals for yourself
If you set firm goals, you avoid boredom during your workout. Through the training effect, you will get into better shape and have more fun while training. Stay realistic and set goals that you can actually achieve. This will ensure that you stay motivated.
Create a pleasant ambiance
Listen to an interesting podcast while training or play your favorite playlist. Be mindful during your workout and take breaks. Also, pay attention to your breathing.
Talk to friends about it
Exchange ideas and inspire your friends. Perhaps you can achieve a common fitness goal? If others are involved, you can push each other.
Get out into the fresh air
Even if you are doing home workouts regularly now, go outside as often as possible—for a walk, a jog, or a bike ride. Especially now, sunlight and fresh air are important for our immune system.
Reward yourself
Admittedly: we are certainly frustrated at times right now because we cannot practice our sport as usual. However, with a well-planned home workout, we can find exercises that not only keep us fit but are also fun. Prepare a smoothie for yourself after the workout or call a friend or family member. It can also be a little indulgence once in a while; that not only boosts motivation, but you have also earned it.
