treeletic Activewear is one of the best sustainable product innovations of 2026
From 1,200 submissions to the finalists: Our activewear at the Green Product Award 2026
We are excited to share a special milestone with our community:
Our activewear has been recognized as a finalist for the Green Product Award 2026.
Out of a total of 1,200 submissions from 54 countries, the best projects in twelve categories were selected and awarded. Alongside international companies, established brands, innovative startups, and university projects, our activewear is also among the honored finalists.
For us, this award is an important validation of our approach to consistently rethinking sustainable sportswear.

The Green Product Award
For many years, the Green Product Award has recognized products and concepts that combine sustainability, innovation, and design.
The awarded projects come from a wide range of fields – from architecture and mobility to interior design, fashion, and new materials.
The deciding factors are not only the ecological impact of a product but also its functionality, innovative power, and market relevance.
Why we developed our activewear
The sportswear market is still dominated by synthetic materials like polyester and nylon today.
While these materials offer functional advantages, they also bring challenges regarding resource consumption, microplastics, and circularity.
That is why we consciously chose a different development approach.
Our goal was to create activewear that meets the demands of modern sportswear while breaking new ground in material selection and sustainability.
Focus on innovative materials
At the heart of our activewear are TENCEL™ and ROICA™ V550.
TENCEL™ is made from wood fibers and is impressive for its particularly pleasant feel, high breathability, and effective moisture management.
ROICA™ V550 is the first stretch fiber of its kind to hold a Cradle-to-Cradle Gold certification. It was developed to provide the elasticity necessary for sportswear while setting new standards for future-oriented material concepts.
The combination of both materials results in sportswear that unites comfort, functionality, and sustainability.
Sustainability doesn't end with the material
Beyond material selection, production and product quality also play a central role. Our activewear is manufactured to a high standard in Portugal. We value short supply chains, high workmanship quality, and long-lasting products.
Because sustainable sportswear is not created by better materials alone, but by products that can be used for a long time.
Confirmation of a different approach
We view our recognition as a finalist at the Green Product Award 2026 as confirmation of the path we have taken.
It shows that innovative materials, responsible production, and high functional standards are increasingly being thought of together.
Above all, it shows that sustainability is no longer a niche topic, but a central component of modern product development.
The future of sportswear is not becoming more sustainable because it has to.
But because it is better.
